Floyd Haynes is a Guyanese born professional with 30+ years of senior- and executive-level experience. He is a Certified Public Accountant who holds a MSc. in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford, and a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He is an adjunct Professor in Finance, and Accounting at the University of the District of Columbia and a Public lecturer in leadership and Management.
Mr. Haynes is founder and President of Haynes Incorporated, a Washington based Accounting and Management consulting firm, ranked number “33” in Washington Business Journal’s 2016 top 50 accounting firms. Haynes Inc. currently provides high level financial and accounting support to public and private entities throughout the United States, some of his clients include the US Department of State, and the US Agency for International Development.
Throughout his career, Mr. Haynes has worked in Africa and the Middle East assisting in the development of small businesses and implementing transparency and accountability in business and government.
Mr. Haynes is a convergent leader who transforms vital plans into workable solutions. He has extensive knowledge of the principles and techniques involved in strategic planning, and resource allocation. He is a current member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
